Amerisure's Claim Adjuster Development Program
The Claim Adjuster Development Program provides a great opportunity for individuals seeking an entry level position into the world of insurance. Selected candidates have an opportunity to learn the claim side of property and casualty insurance through a structured curriculum and on-the-job activities.
Additionally, facilitators provide classroom instruction and follow-thru with individual counseling as needed. Successful completion of state licensing examinations, where required, is expected. Job assignments to specific disciplines within claims are made at the completion of the curriculum.
Activities include:
- Planning and scheduling the work required to resolve claims, which includes interviewing insureds, claimants and witnesses, consulting police and medical records, inspecting property damage and working with other professionals, such as accountants, architects, construction workers, engineers, lawyers and physicians
- Record and report the results of investigative activity
- Performing presentations for insureds and agents
- Devise strategies for the defense of claims
