Amerisure Awards Six Scholarships to High School Seniors

Amerisure is excited to announce the recipients of the 2019 Amerisure Scholarship Program (ASP). The six dedicated and deserving students below were each awarded $1,000 through ASP. The scholarships are renewable for up to three years of undergraduate study.

 Congratulations to this year’s recipients:

  • Chloe Biggs, University of Tennessee: Knoxville
  • Erin Dowdy, University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign
  • Nia Gaither, Queens University of Charlotte
  • Gabriela Rose, Hope College
  • Sage Ryland, Wayne State University
  • Kevin Upcott, Michigan State University

“This is the 27th year ASP has awarded scholarships to passionate students, whose parents are employed by Amerisure,” said Angela McBride, chief administrative officer at Amerisure. “We congratulate this year’s recipients and wish them success in their academic pursuits and future careers. It’s an honor to support the next generation of leaders, and we’re proud to assist employees with post-secondary education expenses.”
Scholarship recipients may use their funding for assistance with tuition, fees, books, supplies, and/or equipment.

Amerisure also renewed scholarships for 12 students who will continue their education for the 2019/2020 academic year. To date, the program has awarded $487,000 to 168 students.
